Cor Hellingman

Cor is associated with Tolboom Franssen as of counsel. He founded his own practice in corporate, sports and media law with an emphasis on reputation management.

Cor assists national and international clients in the field of investor relations in the AI sector, sports, media and entertainment, creative and cultural professions and consumer brands. In sports law, he advises inter alia on transfers of contract players and litigates in national or international anti-doping disputes.

He advises individuals, companies or institutions (family offices) that attach high value to their reputation and privacy. He is particularly experienced in guiding and protecting his clients’ interests in publicity-sensitive matters. His clients appreciate his ability to grasp complex issues quickly and find effective solutions to their problems.

Cor is a member of the Media and Communication Law Association (VMC), the Privacy Law Association (VPR), the Copyright Law Association (VVA) and the Dutch Lawyers Committee for Human Rights (NJCM).

Cor has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
